Nick Hornby is the author of the novels How to Be Good, High Fidelity, About a Boy and A Long Way Down, and of the memoir Fever Pitch. He is also the author of Songbook, a finalist for a National Book Critics Circle Award, and editor of the short-story collection Speaking with the Angel. He is the recipient of the American Academy of Arts and Letters E. M. Forster Award, and the Orange Word International Writers London Award 2003.  He is also the author of a 'Pocket Penguin' title, Otherwise Pandemonium published in May 2005 in the UK, as part of Penguin's 70th anniversary celebration.

Incidentally, to the best of my knowledge there is no such building as Topper's House.
