I read this book a few years back, as well as Mr. Pelzer's other two books. These were extremely heart wrenching; all I wanted to do was to cry and wish that I hade been this boy's father. A real eye-opening experience! You can't help but admire his strength of will and tenacity. If medals were given for children, he would definitely be awarded the Medal of Honor!

I believe that everyone who is contemplating having children should read Dave Pelzer's books.
