Thomas Steinbeck brilliantly introduces a narrator that seduces the reader to pay attention to his story. This narrator is a highly educated and intriguing storyteller. Steinbeck creates suspense with his narrator. The narrator controls the audience. There is a perfect blend of mystery in the plot. This is a must read for people who like good mysteries.
