Inside the Kingdom: Kings, Clerics, Modernists, Terrorists, and the Struggle for Saudi Arabia
by Robert Lacey
Inside the Kingdom by Robert Lacey (7/18/2011)
Lacey tackles a very complex subject and somehow makes it easy to grasp. His in depth knowledge of Saudi Arabia coupled with his ability to express it simply allowed me to learn a lot about the country. I already know a lot about the place as I lived there, but this is a masterpiece. Interesting and easy to read, it also makes a great reference book about the area and it's ruling family.
