Fire in the Ashes: Twenty-Five Years Among the Poorest Children in America
by Jonathan Kozol
People suffer (4/4/2014)
This book, is incredible it recounts the multiple stories of everyday American families. While reading this book, I was swallowed in emotions by reading such vivid descriptions of events. It has been a very influential read, and has made me look twice on how the poor are treated, and misrepresented in the media.
