Hinterland: A Novel
by Caroline Brothers
Hinterland (6/26/2015)
I enjoyed how the author portrayed the faith, innocence and ambition of people who make a journey like this in order to make a better life for themselves. It is a representation of the pioneering spirit, the promise of hope a parent/family instills and the simple values that all mankind holds dear- just an opportunity for a better life. We are all equal and I wish everyone would remember that and provide ongoing opportunities for all types of folks to improve and thrive. It should be like a generous waterfall- not a rare rationed out opportunity.
