Not what I expected (5/7/2018)
This book is okay for readers 8 and up. I would not have read this on a dark and stormy night. It doesn't even get me imagining. It is scary-ish. But, i mean, who wants a reincarnation of The Monkey's Paw? Or, devilish mutant Sea Monkeys? Really? Candace Fleming was not really thinking on this one.
