The plot was great, and I loved the characters, but the whole Lucas and Scarlett love affair was a mess. First they both were in love and agreed they should be that way. But, Lucas began to like Avery, who I personally disliked. I thought Lucas and Scarlett were adorable and I would like them to stay together. I do think there should be a second book that follows their journey into high school and how people treat them and I would also like to see what happens between Scar and Kristen.
