City of Ink: A Li Du Mystery
by Elsa Hart
well plotted, deep understanding (7/8/2019)
Elsa Hart's placement of the setting in 1700's China is surprisingly accurate. The feeling of the book is very Chinese in sentiment as well as locale. Her command of psychology is deeply perceptive and the mysteries are well thought out and resolved in a satisfying way. The entire book club of a dozen people agree - 5 stars!
