A Death in the Rainforest: How a Language and a Way of Life Came to an End in Papua New Guinea
by Don Kulick
PNG remembered. (12/31/2020)
The book brought back memories of my time in PNG from 1979 to 1990. I visited the Sepik region several times but not Gapun. I was saddened by the increase in corruption by polititions during my stay and the level of violence by the oddly called “rascals”. The author has become a modern Margaret Mead! The book is a fantastic read. MB.
