I'm 16, and have never read a proper novel. I've read silly book, romances, sci-fi, but never a plain old fiction novel, that is until I found The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold. I must admit it was the light blue cover, and its small A5 sized cover that drew me to read it, but i must say i couldn't have picked a better novel. I was gripted from the moment i picked it up untill the last few lines of the story. The love the family had for Susie was heart breaking, as was the love Ray had, and was finally returned when Susie was able to tell him throught Ruth's body. I have found my own love through reading book. I hope to read more like The Lovely Bones.
