This hybrid memoir/cultural critique not only had me laughing, crying & feeling all the emotions but also clearly laid out a well researched (and cited!) look into how fundamentalist Christianity has inserted itself into our "secular" nation's laws, policy and social norms. Anyone interested in our modern political climate and how it came about should read this book.
