Hello Beautiful was a goodbye in the first 50 pages. Dry emotionally draining to read. Wanting so desperately for the author to do something with this story, these characters. I wanted to walk into the lake with William and drown already. That’s how I felt reading it like I was walking deeper & deeper into the lake with no hope for this book ever getting better.
