The Little Liar: A Novel
by Mitch Albom
 (3/5/2024)
This is the story of 50,000 people of the Jewish faith who lived peacefully in Salonika (Thessalonica) in Greece. Prior to the beginning of WWII they were attacked by Hitler's SS Troops. They were viciously murdered in one deplorable way or another until only 2,000 remained. The book leads the reader through the journey of four people: three Jewish victims who managed to survive; and one SS soldier who spent his life, during the war and after, trying to kill them.
Once again Mitch Albom has written a brilliant book that pulls at the heart-strings of anyone who reads The Little Liar. You cannot read this book without shedding tears.
