This book is abosolutely FANTASTIC. It tells the story of EVERY Indian girl, Hindu, Muslim, Christian, whoever. I read it in two days and had to re-read the last chapter again. It shows the strength in this girl, although she does not believe having it herself. Thanks to Kavita who wrote this book, to tell people we are our own INDIVIDUALS and not because of who we are married to, and definately not failures because we didn't marry the first guy who proposed. Hats Off to you!!!

I think that this book is wonderful it shows me a life of an Indian girl who lives abroad - I love books written by Rajendra Yadav or Mohan rakesh, but it is too old for these days even if there is a lot of true inside which is still happening in todays India. BUT it gives us a feeling that Indians don´t know anything modern and that is NOT absolutely true. I love the way how this book (For matrimonial...) is written - funny and also very serious!

You don't have to be Indian to like this book! I thought it was excellent for anyone, and relateable for anyone looking for a "normal" guy.

I really enjoyed this book becaue it had such an honest innocence to it. You really identified with Anju's struggle to be a "good girl" and to make her own happiness.
