very touching
This book is one of the most amazing books I've read so far. it took so much heart to go through what Dave went through and i admire that. i love this book. I can't believe how someone could take so much bad from someone they thought cared. Love this book!

Amazing!
A Child Called It was a very emotionally catching book. It took a lot of strength to go through every chapter. Dave Pelzer amazingly tells his autobiography of how, when he was younger, he was terrorized by his mother. The book goes through every emotion Dave as a young boy went through.

A Child Called It
I started to read this book today, 20th June. I couldn't stop! I sat in the sun reading and reading, my tears started to fall and I was so.. so sad about the boy. I finished the book after 2 hours. My mother went in to my room and asked why I was crying, and I just hold up the book in front of her and she understand.. I have many thoughts right now, how you live now and how you feel today.

I'm just 16 years old and live in Sweden. I am really really surprised that it exist child abuse in the world..

thank you for a exciting and a very sorrowful book.

I thought this book was uncredible it helped me learn so much like what this boy had to go through was outrageous and I can't imagine this book touched me in so many ways I can't even explain but I read this book three times its not entertaining but it makes me appreciate how much good I have it because I was very ungrateful, but after reading this it made me think and be way more understanding.

School Inspirastion
When my teacher from school told us about a book called IT we thought it be a normal book. A book a kid would normally read. The more he read the more we told him to keep reading. It is a wonderful book for people like Dave's mother. I think this book is very good and a helpful book .Dave it very strong to live through all that pain.

High School Paper
I heard from other people that A Child Called "It" was a excellent book and you could NEVER put it down! Then my English teacher gives this assignment: To reads at least 3 books by a author that you can choose. So I decided that I would read books by Dave Pelzer. I was on the 3rd chapter and I didn't want to put it down! It's such a good book and I hope everyone can read it b/c than everyone knows that what people go through every day. Its so sad to hear from people that they go through child abuse! I'm done reading A Child Called "It" and now I'm almost done with The Lost Boy.

The Lost Boy
When I read this book it made me glad to know that he was able to get out of it and find a safe home to live in and a family to love him. When I read this it reminded me of my mom, because when she was that age her mom would beat her all the time and my uncle Steve who as just passed away at the age of 37, and when I read the set of books by Dave Pelzer it inspired me to know that when I am old enough to have kids that I will give them all the love I have and like my mom always tells me and my two sisters no matter what happens you girls mean the world to me and there is nothing in this world that can take this away from me no matter the person. I have always wanted to meet Dave Pelzer and just to shake his hand would be an honor. But I just thought it was a great book along with the rest of them I could read those books over and over again and I do love these books.
