The Witches at the End of the World
by Chelsea Iversen
A Great Debut (9/17/2023)
The bond of sisters with a touch of magic can never be underestimated.

The Gifts: A Novel
by Liz Hyder
Angels and a Demon (4/5/2023)
It was a slow start but stay the course. The author's well thought-out evolution of the story is thought provoking. Touching on feminism, nature, religion, and science in a time when women had little choices, opportunities or the ability to question authority.
Homestead: A Novel
by Melinda Moustakis
A Great Debut (2/5/2023)
The subject of the book homesteading in Alaska in the 1950s had my interest. This is a well written debut about courage, endurance, and knowing your limits and strengths as well as discovering your partner 's. Marie and Lawrence build a life and a history together in the wilds of Alaska. This is a great read for a book club!
The God of Endings: A Novel
by Jacqueline Holland
Nature vs Nurture - Who Do We Choose To Be In This Lifetime And The Next (10/26/2022)
A pinch of Anne Rice with a peck of Elizabeth Kostova's "The Historian".
Great suggestion for a book club.
Exiles: Aaron Falk Mystery #3
by Jane Harper
Enjoy a good mystery... read Exiles by Jane Harper! (8/28/2022)
A great read set in the land down under. I enjoyed the pace of the book as well as the introduction of characters and their relationships to each other over time. In addition never having been to Australia, Harper paints a great visual for the reader. She puts the individual pieces of the puzzle on the page for the reader to assemble.
