Tamara is a children's book writer who lives in Vermont. When she is not writing or being mom to her four kids, she can be found running on the river trails with her dog. She received her MFA in Writing for Children and Young Adults from Vermont College of Fine Arts. Her middle grade novel, Another Kind of Hurricane was published by Schwartz & Wade/Random House in July 2015, and she is currently at work on her second novel.
