About this Book

Print Excerpt

We might have hit a breaking point. By the fall of 2020, not even one year into the pandemic, 865,000 U.S. women surrendered and handed in their resignation. The number was roughly four times more than the number of men, thereby further contributing to a gender disparity in corporate America. One mom, a friend of a friend, wrote on Facebook, "I've basically abandoned my career that I've worked for 15 years to build in order to care for my kids and give them an education. It's crazy."
